Dave Lerman, a comedian and self-proclaimed pop culture expert, called in to talk about how he’s been earning money lately. However, before he got to that, Howard asked Dave about his recent appearance on VH1’s “The World Series of Pop Culture.” Dave noted he beat out 300,000 other potential contestants to be on the program, although he couldn’t give many details about it because the show’s finale hasn’t yet aired. Dave went on to challenge both Gary and Artie to a pop-culture competition, with the only criteria being the questions focus on the 1980s and later. After Gary and Artie accepted the challenge, Howard said he’d try to get a sponsor to put up $5,000 if Dave won, as long as he’d be willing to have relations with Siobhan if he lost, a condition to which Dave agreed.
